“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught." Col 2:6-7

As part of our ongoing stewardship and maintenance of our God-given space, we continue to make progress on the project to improve our children's spaces as well as our lobby and perform regular roof, floor, heating, and cooling maintenance. We would love for you to build with us! 

We gather in a number of ways; services, programs, community events, and activities that are hosted, presented, developed, and offered in our building. During our nearly 100-year history in Halifax, God has blessed us with space that facilitates the ministry He has given to us. The generations that preceded us established a strong track record of stewardship that “Built Up” the church, and balanced ministry needs with quality and excellence. Now that it is our turn to steward the great resource our building is we want to rise to the standards previously set and we want to do our part to “Build Up” the ministry of Faith City Church. This will ensure people have a safe, usable, comfortable, and functional space in which to build an understanding of Jesus Christ. 

To that end, we are working towards completing the following building maintenance and updates and we need your help. We invite you to “Build Up” with us.   

“Together, we will be rooted, BUILT UP, and established in the Lord.” 

Caring for our congregation and community has been our commitment for generations and much of that happens within the space God has provided. We are inviting you to “Build Up” with us by giving beyond regular tithes in order to help see the above projects completed. By building up together, we will be able to address the felt needs of our community and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be firmly rooted and established in Jesus Christ.
